You Are Not Alone

Have you ever felt like the enemy was winning the battle against you and wondered why is God letting him win? Sometimes it does seem that way; however this is far from the truth. The enemy isn't winning anything. God's got it all under control. You just need to open your eyes and see in the spirit (2 Kings 6:6-17). You'll be amazed by what God reveals to you.

Read the chapter below and let it minister to you today. Your comments are welcome.

Chapter for the Week: 2 Kings 6
Scripture focus: 2 Kings 6:8-23

We are definitely not alone, and I thank God that when I look through His eyes, everything victorious anything is possible.

This section calls our attention to the hostilities that Israel was experiencing with the king of Aram Syria. The principle source of these hostilities continued in the form of invading bands or plundering parties who would make border raids against the Jews 6:23) rather than an invasion of an organized Syrian army as mentioned in 6:24.But I heard brother Paul say to us be strong in the LORD and in the power of his MIGHT and he told us what to do to be succesful in our wasfare.

Amen @ Anonymous. What I love most is when Elisha ask God to open his servant eyes so He can see that they were not alone, because there were more fighting with them than against them.

This took me back to II Cor.4 vs.17 and 18. But let us focus on vs.18 in connection with II kings. It is obvious that we let what we can see with the natural eye fool us. And I quote"while we look not on the things which are seen, but for the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal." What did the Father say about Him being with us always, He said He will never leave us nor forsake us. What makes our journey seems so tiresome and long, is that we forget what we know because we focus on what we can see. God bless
